Experience:
Capt J has been a full time professional charter fisherman in
Key West since 1989. His early years of fishing Key West were
spent working on the deep sea boats where it was his job to help
inexperienced anglers get fish to the boat. Capt J has
applied much of what he learned in that arena to his own flats
fishing adventures. Some call his amazing skills cheating, he
calls it happy customers! |

Preparation:
The most effective fishing guides are well prepared in advance
for not only plan A but B, C and D as well. If the glory fishing
is not happening in one spot, Capt J will certainly have some
fall back plan up his sleeve. |

Bait:
Capt J always does everything he can to make sure that he has an
overkill amount of fresh live bait on hand. Live bait greatly
increases the odds of success as opposed to the use of
artificial which is what the majority of guides provide. |

Attitude:
Capt J loves his job and it shows. Captain J wants his clients
to catch these fish even more than they do. Although Capt J is
very intense as far as effectively using every minute of the
trip, he always is able to maintain a positive attitude. |

Repeat Business:
Captain J has at least 130 days per year booked with repeat
clientele. |

The Professional Choice:
Capt J has had dozens of referrals from other local guides. When
another guide has friends or family visit when they are already
booked, they send them to Capt J because they know that he is he
going to produce. |
